Purpose of this Site: Portal for Edification
What’s New!
First Time Visitors If you are visiting this site, you may have learned of this site from my car tag. These two words are my phrase! They have sustained me in ways beyond measure. I chose to display these words on my tag as a part of my testimony and personal ministry tool. I enjoy discussing its meaning every time that I do. At this present time, I can recall many of my encounters: at the bank, at the superstore, with coworkers, etc. It is a great feeling to know that you are being used as a vessel. |

An Encounter I recall the superstore encounter. This man walked up to me, placing his party on the cell phone on hold and asked me "God Knew what?" Mind you, my answer is not rehearsed because it does mean everything and everything can mean anything at any given time.. But in my one minute encounter with the brother who was on my same page, I said something like "God Knew Everything before it Happened So why worry when God has prepared you." He asked, “But don’t people know this already”. “They should if they read their Bibles”, I answered. “Do you think they read their Bibles?” He continued. “Whether they do or not, they read you and I everyday so we must represent God at all times”. He smiled, nodded, we shook hands, gave names, he resumed his telephone conversation and I was off to pick up my children. |

Enlarge My Territory So God prompted me to expand my territory of this particular witness. Thus the birthing of this website. I can recall when I first told my husband that I wanted to have this on my car tag. I felt the conviction before hand. I told him that I when I get my car tag, “I am going to start driving better”. He said, “Why wait for the tag, why don’t you start driving better now.” He did not know it but that spoke volumes into my spirit. We are always “waiting” on an event before we do right or do what we are supposed to do. That is why Nike’s slogan is so popular because it ends the procrastination and puts our words into action.
This website is about action. Back in 1991 God showed me, as I was participating in my company’s Adopt-A-School program, that my calling was for edification. I have done this for years in various ways. My mom is Mrs. Edification and I am merely her seed. Well, July 28, 2003, God gave me my final prompting. What is your prompting? What is your calling? I pray that God will lead and direct you into your calling and that the words within this site may inspire you into your destiny of which God Knew!
Let me interject that this site is a work in progress (WIP), just as I am (without one plea). If you saw me on the road and I did not have the best driving day, be patient with me, God is not thru with me yet. Charge it to my head and not my heart. We all are WIPs. I invite you to be a part of this great journey of life with me until it is time to go to our mansions. |

Where is my pen? Habbakuk says to write the vision down on tablets and make the vision plain. Proverbs 16:3… says commit thy works unto the Lord and they will be established. I fell in love with journaling in college. I see it as a great documentary tool. If for no other reason, I can look back on my writings and chart my maturity or lack there of. The point is that many of the things you read are compilations of many of the sketching I have journalled in the past. I hope you enjoy.
What is Your Talent? Finally, recall Jesus’ parable about the three servants and the Master giving them Talents. Two of the servants multiplied their talents and they were told “Well done thy good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over few, I will make you ruler over many things.” The third servant buried his talent and was cursed. Who are you? What will you become? What will God’s word concerning your God given talent be: a curse or a blessing?
